The Struggle Is Everlasting

Water management concerns how we, as humans, interact with water. In the Netherlands, this is a never-ending task. The choices we make today will affect the distant future. That's why water management is crucial for all of us.

What do we know about the possibilities and risks of water? In other words, what is our water awareness? This is the focus of caisson 4.

Here, you can explore the story of a woman who experienced the tsunami in Sri Lanka in 2004. How did this event change her and her family's lives?

You can also test your knowledge of water with various interactive games. For example, alter water flows in a digital landscape and observe the effects.

Raw Power

What is the true power of water? If anyone understands this, it’s the people from Colijnsplaat. Their story from during the disaster is showcased on a large curved screen, measuring 18 meters by 3.5 meters.
