We want everyone to have an enjoyable visit to the Watersnoodmuseum. Therefore, we kindly ask you to follow our house rules.
The museum is easily reachable by car, with a spacious car park directly in front of the entrance.
If you are using public transport, the closest bus stop is Zierikzee, Sas. From there, it is a 6-kilometre journey to the museum. You can hire a shuttle taxi for this final stretch.
You can also enjoy food and drink with us. Choose a delicious meal at Het Vijfde Caisson, our museum café. Alternatively, take a break during your museum visit at the coffee corner.
Our museum is for everyone, and we have taken various measures to ensure this. Please see below which situation applies to you.
All areas of the museum are accessible for wheelchairs. There is a short paved path from the parking lot leading to the entrance. From the museum's exit, a paved path leads back to the parking lot and the museum café. Additionally, we provide:

Guide dogs have free access to the museum.

Some areas of our museum are dimly lit. There are also sections with sounds and videos. The staff member at the museum entrance can provide more information about this.
