Salt from the Eastern Scheldt
In saltworks, natural salt is purified so we can safely eat or use it. This craft has existed since Roman times. The only saltworks in the Netherlands is located near the Watersnoodmuseum. Are you coming to the museum with a group of more than 10 people? Consider this culinary arrangement. After visiting the Watersnoodmuseum, head to the only salt works in the Netherlands: Zeeuwsche Zoute in Bruinisse. Here, you'll enjoy a guided tour with a salt tasting.

The drive from the Watersnoodmuseum to Zeeuwsche Zoute salt works takes about 10 minutes by car. Please note that transport is not included in this arrangement.
