House Rules
We want everyone to have an enjoyable visit to the Watersnoodmuseum. Therefore, we kindly ask you to follow our house rules.
Be considerate of other visitors
The Watersnoodmuseum focuses on stories about the flood disaster and other natural disasters. For many people, these topics are highly emotional. Some have personally experienced a disaster or lost friends or family. Please respect that these emotions may play a role.
Give other visitors the necessary space to view exhibits and information panels in peace.
Avoid noise and ensure that you do not disturb other visitors.
Do not touch the exhibits
Many objects inside and around the museum must not be touched.
If touching is allowed, this will be clearly indicated. Please handle these objects with care.
Respect the environment
Please dispose of your waste in the designated bins inside and around the museum to keep the museum and nature clean.
Follow the staff's instructions
Our staff knows how to ensure a pleasant and safe visit for everyone. If you are asked to do or refrain from something, please follow their instructions.
In case of an emergency, such as a fire or technical malfunction, follow the instructions of our staff, the police, or the fire department.
Adults are responsible for the behavior of minors
Are you accompanying children or teenagers under the age of 18 to the museum? Make sure they follow the house rules and behave appropriately by speaking quietly, not running, and treating the exhibits respectfully.
Parents, teachers, and guardians are liable for any damages caused by minors.
