Opening of the Temporary Exhibition 'Re-Start House'

The gift houses played a significant role in the period following the disaster. From the end of 1953, these wooden houses were built for people who no longer had a home. Many of these houses are still comfortable homes today.
The risk of flooding is increasing nowadays. Climate change and rising sea levels play a major role in this. Might we soon need wooden gift houses again to quickly assemble?
Last school year, 9 students from the Faculty of Architecture at TU Delft enthusiastically participated in the 'Re-start House Design Studio' of the Form Studies group. They designed 'modern' gift houses. During the opening of the temporary exhibition 'Re-Start House,' they will showcase models and drawings of their designs.
